Roots Steakhouse is an old-fashioned New York style Steakhouse located in Summit, Morristown, and Ridgewood NJ and our Ocean Prime Concepts are located in Princeton and soon to be Darien, Connecticut.  The Roots name comes from the iconic Roots clothing store, which was the location of the first Roots Steakhouse in Summit NJ (2006).  The vault that held all of the mink coats still remains a part of the location. The second Roots Steakhouse followed 5 years later in Morristown NJ.  Our third Roots location opened in June 2014 in Ridgewood NJ. In 2019, Roots Ocean Prime in Princeton, NJ opened its doors and our most recent addition of Roots Ocean Prime In Darien, CT.
